The Azienda Agricola Manuelina is located in the municipality of Santa Maria della Versa, in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese region. Its history, and that of Manuelina wines, begins in the first half of the 20th century, when Luigi Achilli and his brother Guido decided not to limit themselves to production for personal consumption or a few loyal friends and customers. Thus, the Achilli Luigi Agricultural Company was born. Success came quickly, and many families from the city came on Saturdays and Sundays to buy wine directly from the cellar, especially from the main cellar.

Since then, the company has come a long way, a journey built on dedication and the patient selection of grapes for quality wine production. This great passion was passed on by Luigi Achilli to his sons Paolo and Antonio, who – according to their individual inclinations but with a unified purpose – contributed to transforming the company into the business it is today and the resulting Manuelina wines.

The name change to Manuelina is now history. To distinguish the company from the numerous Achilli wineries in the municipality of Santa Maria della Versa, they decided to use a simple family name (Manuela is the name of one of Paolo's daughters). Today, Azienda Agricola Manuelina owns 22 hectares of vineyards and produces, vinifies, and bottles its wine directly on the farm, striving to create a high-quality product that consistently satisfies all its customers.
The grapevine is a generous plant that knows how to reciprocate the dedication of those who tend it and understand its secrets with unique and precious products. That's why the team at Manuelina is certain their products are so special: because they contain an extra ingredient – the passion of the family who make them. Behind every stage of production lies meticulous care, the result of years of experience striving for excellence.

The Manuelina vineyards are cultivated with the utmost care and respect for the environment: fungicide use is kept to a minimum, organic fertilizers are used only for maintenance, not to force production, and the vines are kept short and natural grass is maintained. The harvest is done entirely by hand. We then proceed with a gentle pressing of the destemmed grapes. The most suitable processing techniques are used for each type of product. Decanting takes place in stainless steel tanks, which ensure optimal hygiene.
