Questions about ‘Shipping and logistics’
Packaging at the retailer and handover to the logistics provider takes a maximum of 1-2 days after receipt of payment. Within Germany, DHL GoGreen normally requires 1-2 working days to deliver a parcel. In total, the order takes around 2-4 days after receipt of payment.
In rare cases, it may take longer, e.g. during the holiday season or in the run-up to Christmas. If the shipping status of the shipment has not changed for more than 6 working days, the retailer can request an investigation. Please contact us by email at service [at] winetory.de.
In principle, the logistics partner is liable for all packages shipped throughout Germany against loss or damage up to €500 (upon presentation of the receipted proof of posting).
Shipping costs within Germany vary from €3.90 to €7.90, depending on the weight of the package and the logistics provider you choose at checkout.
This is related to our principles for ecologically sound and fair e-commerce:
- Promoting the avoidance of CO2 in manufacturing and transport
- Creating fair transport conditions without free shipping
To avoid CO2 emissions during transport, we have decided to ship in a CO2-neutral manner, meaning we want to ship in a climate-friendly way.
With DHL GoGreen's climate-neutral shipping, these emissions are offset. We are thus making an active contribution to climate protection and shipping packages climate-neutrally throughout Germany.
Currently, deliveries to parcel lockers are not always possible.
In order for us to receive a refund for the insured package, we need your signed " Legally Binding Declaration ".
Only with this information can we initiate a refund or, if desired, arrange for a replacement delivery.
After your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive the tracking code for your package along with the invoice. We only ship very lightweight items via DHL Parcel S, for which tracking is not possible.
You can use the tracking code to track the current status of your delivery.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship orders internationally. We appreciate your understanding.
Our wines, sparkling wines, tasting packages, spirits, and gourmet food items are generally shipped directly from our warehouse. In rare cases, we use dropshipping, meaning the goods are shipped directly from the manufacturer.
Questions about "Returns and Cancellations"
In principle, every customer has the right to withdraw from their contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
Detailed information about our cancellation policy can be found under Right of Cancellation.
To ensure the fastest possible delivery, we start the order process immediately upon receipt of your order. Only in the case of payment in advance will delivery take place after payment has been received.
As long as the ordered goods are not yet out for delivery by the logistics provider, a free cancellation is still possible.
If the goods are already out for delivery by the logistics provider, we can no longer stop the shipping process. In that case, please return the goods to us at your own expense.
You can return the delivered goods to us unopened within 14 days. Please be sure to follow the procedure below for a smooth return process:
- Inform us of your return request via email.
- Return the goods to WINETORY
- Please allow approximately 2-5 business days for your refund.
In case of quality defects or incorrect deliveries, we will of course cover all return shipping costs. Please send us a scanned copy of your payment receipt.

Please understand that refunds may take approximately 2-5 business days. Before a refund can be processed, our logistics team must confirm receipt of the returned item. Therefore, please ensure the item is returned securely, ideally in its original packaging.
With the help of the package notification and the tracking number, it is possible to track the package until 00:00 before the day of the planned delivery:
- to specify an alternative preferred location or
- to select a preferred neighbor or
- to postpone the delivery day by a maximum of 6 days.
Questions about "Ordering and Payment"
We have no minimum order quantity. You decide how many items you order. For bottle orders, we recommend ordering wine in the typical sizes of shipping boxes, i.e., 3, 6, or 12 bottles. This simplifies packaging and speeds up shipping.
Currently, the minimum order value is €125 for free shipping.
Every customer receives their invoice by email, which is more sustainable than postal delivery. If you don't receive an invoice by email within 7 days, please contact customer service at service[at]winetory.de.
Yes. Creating a customer account in the shop is recommended to submit an order.
If you don't want that, simply order by email service [at] winetory.de or by phone 08231 / 959765.
Please note that for guest orders we only accept payments via bank transfer or PayPal.
The ordering process is very convenient and intuitive:

- Add all items to your shopping cart
- Go to the virtual checkout

- Complete the purchase by clicking the "Buy" button.
