The Bindi Sergardi vineyards are located in the province of Siena, one of Tuscany's most beautiful and oldest cities. Bindi Sergardi's estates cover nearly 1,000 hectares in the province of Siena, nestled between the medieval villages of Vagliagli in the Chianti Classico region and Monteriggioni. The vineyards are situated within three prestigious DOCG areas: Chianti Classico, Chianti, and Chianti Colli Senesi.

Tuscany is a land steeped in history and rich in culture. It is one of the oldest and most famous regions in the world, also renowned for its vineyards. Winemaking is part of the Tuscan DNA. Life is good in this region: life is beautiful, the air is clean, and time passes peacefully and calmly.

The Chianti Classico

The Chianti Classico appellation lies in a beautiful, hilly region between Siena and Florence. It is the oldest officially recognized wine region in the world: Cosimo III de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, defined its boundaries in 1716. A black rooster, his symbol, appears on all bottles of Chianti Classico. The Bindi Sergardi estates are located in the southern part of the appellation, in the Vagliagli area of the province of Siena. Due to its history intertwined with Siena and its proximity to the city, the wine produced at the Bindi Sergardi estates is an authentic expression of Sienese Chianti Classico. Here, thanks to the climate, the terrain, and the altitude, the Sangiovese grape reaches its highest and most unique expression.

The Chianti & the Chianti Colli Senesi

Chianti wine is primarily made from Sangiovese grapes, cultivated in designated production areas within the provinces of Siena, Florence, Pistoia, Pisa, Prato, and Arezzo. The region's gentle, terraced hills and valleys yield exquisite wine from vineyards that are traditional symbols of the Tuscan landscape. The beauty, history, emotions, and unique flavors of Tuscany, Italy's most famous and beloved region worldwide, are reflected in this fresh and fruity wine.

Chianti Colli Senesi is the wine produced in the hills surrounding the city of Siena, where vineyards have covered the slopes since antiquity. There are three main clusters of Chianti Colli Senesi wine production: North (Monteriggioni), Southwest (Montalcino), and Southeast (Montepulciano, Pienza, Chiusi). Chianti Colli Senesi possesses an appealing personality and grace that has made it popular for five centuries. This red wine is made from at least 75% Sangiovese grapes, the traditional Tuscan grape variety.
