Welcome to the world of the Zenato winery, an oasis of quality and tradition in Veneto. With 95 hectares of first-class vineyards in Lugana and the classic Valpolicella zone, Zenato embodies the best of both worlds: outstanding white and red wines born from a deep-rooted passion for the land and the grape varieties.
The Zenato story began in 1960 in San Benedetto di Lugana, when Sergio Zenato realized his dream. With dedication and hard work, he created a winery that embraced innovation and new vinification techniques, without losing sight of the local grape varieties. This combination of tradition and progress remains at the heart of the winery today.
Zenato's vineyards stretch from the shores of Lake Garda to the sunny hills of Valpolicella. Here, in Costalunga, within the municipality of Sant'Ambrogio, the grapes for the renowned red wines made from Corvina and Rondinella thrive. Each bottle of wine tells the story of a family deeply rooted in their homeland.
Sergio's vision lives on through his wife Carla and their children Alberto and Nadia. With passion and a clear vision, they continue the path Sergio began. Today, Zenato's vineyards cover 95 hectares at the S. Cristina estate in San Benedetto di Lugana, where the Trebbiano di Lugana grape variety is cultivated, and at the Costalunga estate in Valpolicella, home of the famous Amarone. This region is known for its exceptional Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta grapes.
Besides Veneto, Zenato also has a small but distinguished presence in Tuscany. On a 3.8-hectare vineyard, Zenato interprets the famous Bolgheri DOC in a unique way using Cabernet and Merlot grape varieties.
Immerse yourself in the world of Zenato and experience wines that impress with their quality and attention to detail. Whether a crisp Lugana from the rolling hills of Lake Garda or a powerful Amarone from the sun-drenched vineyards of Valpolicella – every glass of Zenato wine is a moment of pure enjoyment, reflecting the passion and dedication of a family who have devoted themselves to the art of winemaking for over 60 years.
