
Baked sheep's cheese with wine pairing

To help you find the perfect food to pair with your wine, we've written down this favorite recipe for you. Whether summer or winter – baked sheep's cheese is perfect any time of year. It pairs well with white, rosé, or red wine.
Ingredients for 2 servings
- 200g of sheep's cheese, either in a block or sliced
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 1 medium-sized red chili pepper
- 4 small cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 1 clove of garlic
- A little olive oil
- pepper
- oregano

Working time approx. 10 minutes | Total time approx. 10 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Drain the feta cheese and place it in a baking dish. Drizzle the cheese with olive oil until the bottom of the dish is covered with about 1-2 mm of oil. Season with pepper to taste and sprinkle a pinch of oregano over each serving of cheese.
Dice the onion and thinly slice the garlic. Halve the chili lengthwise, remove the seeds, and slice into strips. Add the ingredients to the feta cheese and some to the oil.
Bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 10-15 minutes. A small baguette makes a good side dish.
