The Rigoloccio Abundantia Maremma Toscana is a pure Merlot with a concentrated ruby red color, produced entirely in barriques. It is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques to enhance its characteristics and highlight its particularly intense and persistent aromas. This is followed by bottle aging for at least 10 months. Maceration and fermentation take place at a controlled temperature (28°C) for 24 days, with pump-overs and whisking.
- Color: Intense ruby red with deep concentration
- Bouquet: Strong aromas of Marasca cherry, plums, violets and sweet spices
- Taste: Full-bodied, soft and structured, with firm tannins, well-balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish.
The intense aroma of the Rigoloccio Abundantia Maremma Toscana Merlot Barrique offers lingering notes of black cherries, plums, violets, and sweet spices. Its palate is assertive yet smooth, supported by firm tannins, good acidity, and balanced with a long finish.

Serving suggestion
Pairs well with red meat, aged cheese, and chocolate. Merlot is a popular, medium-bodied red wine grape with deep, fruity aromas. It has a rich, velvety texture and flavors of black cherries, blackberries, plums, and spices. With age, Merlot wines are known for their complex earthy notes, such as truffle, tobacco, and leather. Merlot is best enjoyed with steak, grilled vegetables, and dark meats. Its dark berry notes and soft tannins make it a perfect choice for many different occasions. It pairs easily with any dish and often has a slightly sweet finish, making it a perfect match for desserts.
