The Marani Saperavi Rosé dry is a characterful rosé from the renowned Kakheti wine region, vinified by the traditional Telavi Wine Cellar. Made from the indigenous Saperavi grape variety, it combines regional identity with modern cellar techniques. With an alcohol content of approximately 12–12.5% vol., low residual sugar, and a lively acidity, it presents itself as crisp, dry, precise, and refreshing – a stylish representative of the regional Marani line, authentically reflecting the terroir of the Alazani Valley.
- Color: Light pink
- Bouquet: Full of intense notes of ripe peaches and vibrant raspberries
- Taste: The palate echoes the nose, revealing notes of pomegranate, followed by a long-lasting finish of rose petals.
In the glass, it shines with a delicate, brilliant rosé hue. The bouquet is characterized by fresh fruit aromas such as pomegranate, barberry, juicy peach, and raspberry, complemented by subtle floral nuances. On the palate, it is lively and harmonious, with fine fruitiness, well-integrated acidity, and a pleasantly soft, almost velvety texture. A subtle mineral note adds further depth, while the finish is fresh, elegant, and balanced.
- Winemaker/Winery: Marani, Telavi Wine Cellar, Kakheti, Georgia
- Wine type: Rosé wine, bottle, 750ml, dry
- Ingredients: Grapes, acidity regulators (contains tartaric acid and/or malic acid), antioxidant (ascorbic acid), preservative (sulfur dioxide). Bottled by Telavi Wine Cellar in a protective atmosphere.
The grapes are hand-harvested in mid-September at their optimal ripeness, gently processed, and left on the skins for several hours to carefully extract color and aromas. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the freshness and varietal character before the wine is further aged and bottled early in the year. This rosé impresses with its elegance and vibrancy – ideal with fish, poultry, cold roasts, or summer salads, but also a refreshing treat on its own on warm days.
