The Pasta di Gragnano Caccavella IGP with Terracotta Bowl includes four large-format pastas and the matching pasta pots for serving. The Caccavella is one of Antonino 'il Pastaio's' most ingenious inventions, for which a European patent has been applied. It is the largest single-portion pasta format in the world with a net weight of 50 g and a diameter of almost 10 cm. With its charm and visual impact, 'a Caccavella is appreciated by chefs and consumers who invent new and exciting recipes every day.
The noodles are wrapped together in a cellophane bag and packed in a drawstring pouch. Alternatively, we also offer the matching refill pack with 4x Caccavella pasta or as a refill pack with 4x Caccavella pasta in a gift box [WoA]

Serving suggestion
The Caccavella is a true giant pasta and ideal for filling – perfect to impress your guests! Cook the pasta al dente (approx. 13 minutes), drain it briefly on a kitchen towel and then arrange it in a buttered baking dish. Fill each Caccavella with a savory mixture of ricotta, spinach and Parmesan or a spicy bolognese with mozzarella. Pour a little tomato sauce over it, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 15 minutes. Serve immediately – hot and aromatic!
