The unique characteristic of Gragnano Fusilloni lies in their shape and texture. They have a long, spiral shape, resembling a screw, and a slightly rounded, robust texture. This texture makes them particularly well-suited for savory or cheese-based sauces. The pasta is made from durum wheat semolina and water and extruded through bronze dies, giving it a rough, porous surface that better absorbs sauces.
