The grapes for the Manara El Rocolo Recioto Valpolicella DOCG Classico grow over layered stone walls in terraced vineyards, located in the hilly Valpolicella Classico zone within the municipality of Negrar. Here, the vines of the original Valpolicella grape varieties still thrive.

Part of the wine (15%) is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, while 85% is stored in small stainless steel tanks. The subsequent bottle aging lasts 6 to 12 months.
