Contromano Malanoire Vino Rosso 2020

The Contromano Malanoire has an intense ruby red color. It boasts a complex bouquet that gradually unfolds with notes of ripe fruits such as sour cherry and plum, as well as dried fruits like dates and sultanas. The palate is well-structured, flavorful, tannic, yet also refreshingly crisp with a long, warm, leathery finish.

The grapes for de Contromano Malanoire come from two vineyards in the southernmost part of Lake Garda. The training system used employs high-density rows (10,000 vines/ha) according to the French system. The ripe grapes are harvested, vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, and then aged in the bottle for at least three months.

Contramano is a winery with vineyards in Magnacavallo, where the Malavasi family owns an estate in a beautiful lakeside area, specifically used for the production of some refined wines. A production facility, warehouses, and aging rooms [WoA] are located nearby.
