Idea for the app

Over time, you learn a lot about wines and sparkling wines. I'm not much of a wine expert myself; my colleagues Tanja, Michael, and Andrea know considerably more about wine. But with every glass of wine and every visit to a winery, you gain a deeper insight into the wonderful diversity of the wine world. We've even completed a few wine exams. On the path to becoming a wine connoisseur, you face many challenges and constantly encounter fascinating questions, amusing anecdotes, and interesting people. We know each of our winemakers and their wineries personally. Personally, I find that you're always developing.

This accumulated knowledge formed the foundation and core idea for our app. We wanted to share our knowledge and personal stories about wines, winemakers, and wineries with our community. We then began compiling the many questions and answers. From this, the idea developed to share our wine knowledge with you in the form of quizzes, puzzles, and a glossary. Even those just starting their sommelier training will find numerous questions in the "Success Dreams + Works" section. Those who prefer a more competitive experience should try "Battle of the Vines," where you play against the clock and try to answer as many questions correctly as possible.

After the knowledge section was soon filled with 500 questions, as well as many pictures and videos, the next category was added. My 10-year-old son and I occasionally go geocaching. In recent weeks, we've also started playing escape rooms. Based on these experiences, I began developing my own escape room story, which, fittingly for our theme, is about a "visit to the Manara Winery." Unlike a traditional escape room, our ExxitRoom takes you on a journey through the winery and wine cellar, where you learn a lot of interesting facts. At the same time, the focus is on exciting puzzle fun and a convivial evening of wine with family or friends.
